You know what, I did this once, but I can totally do it another time. Not sure I’ll come up with five different answers, again, it’ll just be as I feel ❀ Thank you for tagging me!

– This community. It’s cheesy but it makes a real difference for me. The support, the positivity, the adorable feedback, and just, you know, the creativity. The lifting each other up.

– Enjoying things I was once passionate about again.

– Drawing stupid stuff just for the heck of it, without pressuring myself because it must turn out “right”.

-A good yoga session, which is a nudge for me to get up and make space in my flat so that I can actually do some yoga x)

– These dudes’ videos: https://www.youtube.com/user/fantabobgames It’s in French, so you might not all understand it, but I’ve been laughing for days at their Far Cry series.

A Very Skinny Friend

I’ve met many a skeleton in the depths of the Omiscan Temple, but never one as stylish as my new friend.

We have a chat and get along well, but he’s a bit clingy, and I really need to keep exploring. Thankfully, he doesn’t hold it against me. Quite the opposite, for a minute there, I have a skeleton cheering me on.

Archeologist goals.

The Skeletons

Of course, I’m the only one who goes in the water. The others really should stop calling themselves archeologists, and go for historians. “Oh,” Royal’s wife says, “but you never know what could be in this water!”

Salt, Elizabeth, there’s salt. And algae.

On the other side, I take a break to eat a packed sandwich, and I start analyzing the only thing I see, the three skeletons staring at me.

And I solve the puzzle on the first try. Take that, colleagues.

A Day in the Jungle

From the minute I go through the first door to twilight, and then some more, I trek through the jungle. On the way, I save a little sick capybara I run across. I also spectacularly fail at retrieving a bag that Bradford, this absolute genius, dropped into quicksand. And yet, when I miss it with the hook of my fishing rod, I get the side-eye from Royal’s spy. I mean, his wife, who he sent instead of himself.

Because the director of the museum is way above actually stepping foot in the mud of the tropical forests.

I’d rather spend time with the spider that attacks me by one of the gates than with him, anyway.

A Trip With People You Don’t Like

I love Selvadorada. I heavily dislike going on a planned trip with every single one of my colleagues and my boss. But I didn’t have a choice, did I? That’s the brilliant solution Royal came up with to keep me in check. And oh, how out of place he looks in his fancy suit in the jungle.

As soon as I can, I change into explorer gear, and head to the jungle. I have no plans to stay and chat with them. I’m not here to chat, I’m here for archeology, whether they like it or not.

Family Time by the Chimney

Because Gram’s backyard is beautiful, but it’s also really cold this time of year. ClĂ©o has a gift for our great-grandmother, something she found in a box of old things, that they had made together when she was a toddler.

By the crackling fire in the chimney, we all chat and laugh, and I swear it feels like there’s a spirit watching over us. It feels like my grandmas are with us.

I’m just making the most of this moment. I know I have to leave soon, for a trip to Selvadorada I did not plan, and for the first time, I’m not happy about it. So at the moment, I’m gathering forces.

Spooky Surroundings

ClĂ©o goes wandering in Gram’s garden. Gram is not a fan of greenhouses even in her own home, so the view is sort of spooky. But pretty.

On the other hand, Cyril found a few live plants, and after asking Gram, takes a few seeds to plant “as soon as he can”.

I have a feeling the minute I move out of the house, the twins are gonna turn my poolhouse into an inside garden.
