Luxury Woods Mansion — Outside First Floor

The mansion is perfectly at home on the 64×64 in Brindleton Bay, I really love the view. There’s a vast barbecue area, a spot to get massages, and a little campfire. You have to go through this floor to get inside the house, and really, it’s worth it.

Luxury Woods Mansion

So I’ve been working on this mansion, based on a photo someone shared on a facebook group. It took me a while, but I’m really happy with the results, so get ready for the upcoming posts about the tour ❤

Homecooked Cure in the Spooky House

image

Luckily, my friend the inn owner taught me how to cook the remedy to this curse on my last trip to Selvadorada. I blast through the doors of the house, and without taking the time to take my coat off, I rummage in my chest to find the proper ingredients, then I get cooking.

How lucky is it that I carry around ancient bone dust across continents! Lucky, or spooky.

And this is the perfect time to be spooky after all?

image

I’m baffled that this odd stew, frankly made with the most disgusting of items, doesn’t actually taste half bad.

image

Probably doesn’t taste as good as the candy Cyril thinks he’s been sneaky about stealing. Can’t be sneaky when the bowl basically explodes in your face every time you put your hand in it, Cee.

… Waiting for the remedy to take effect…

image

Yes!

I am cure! And not just that, I’m washed over by the blessing of well-meaning, ancient gods.

Just on time for Spooky Day.

Relics in the Rain

I’m not risking summoning a skeleton into our home anymore, so this time I took the relic with me, to assemble it in the park behind our home.

The first one glows the familiar gold, and falls back into my hands, shiny and ready to be activated; so I do.

And immediately get struck with a curse.

A guest!

On my way out, I notice that Amanda is over… Another time, I would probably have stayed close by to pretend that I wasn’t listening in, but I figure, it’s time I give Cléo her space.

She already has Nounou spying on them, anyway.

Karma

image

I might not like to get mud thrown at me, but as long as I have the right rain boots, I’ll happily play in the puddles.

image

Dad has rain boots on too, but he’s not quite careful enough where he’s stepping.

image

And it’s a fall.

image

I could help him up, but also, I could just stand there and laugh.

image

What goes around…

Even our laser ghost seems to be laughing at his misfortune.

Rain

image

I’m not convinced going out to fix the electronics in the rain, but Dad is fearless, and he also really really wants to listen to his jazz by the pool. Methinks if he wouldn’t leave the radio post outside every day, even under the rain, there wouldn’t need fixing in the first place.

image

I’m just going out for a walk, and unlike my father, I’m prepared for the weather.

image

I was not prepared for him to go ahead and attack me with mud. Thankfully for my pretty, bright red coat, he missed.

Really, dad?

‘Tis the Season to be Spooky

image

Mom and Dad got to get the house Spooky-ready on the outside. But today, I have a plan to make it even. I climb upstairs, the part of the house that basically belongs to Mom and Dad.

In a corner by the washing machines, are the boxes that store all of the potential to ake a fairytale land out of any home.

The holiday decorations.

Spreading the spook.
